Sophia Yang was born in Fujian, China. At age 9, she immigrated to the U.S. with her parents. She attended North Carolina State University (NCSU) on a 4-year full scholarship as a Park Scholar where she studied Finance. While studying at NCSU, Sophia was first exposed to the fast-growing real estate industry in the Triangle area and later became an agent in 2017.

Raised in Eastern North Carolina in a small town called Morehead City, Sophia ran a successful family restaurant and worked in the emergency room as a receptionist, through which she developed a strong set of skills in customer care involving effective communication and problem-solving. She is fluent in mandarin, Cantonese, and fujianese. Being knowledgeable, friendly, and professional, she has been helping many clients find their dream homes in this area.
